Cartersville Medical Center Offers Free Seminar: Breathe Easier

CARTERSVILLE, GEORGIA, October 22, 2009

Cartersville Medical Seminar will offer a free seminar featuring Timothy Lin, M.D., a pulmanologist on staff at the hospital. Dr. Lin will be discussing the latest treatment options for Emphysema and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). COPD is a major cause of disability and its the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S. With no cure yet found Dr. Lin will share information about how lifestyle changes and preventative treatments can help you feel better, stay more active, and slow the progress of the disease.

Dr. Timothy Lin received his bachelor of arts in biochemistry at Cornell University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York-Upstate Medical University. Dr. Lin is affiliated with the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians, and he has written many publications throughout his career.
